Liberty TV Live Online. WTLU-CA (Digital channels 43.1, 43.2, and Analog channel 50) is an independent television station owned by Liberty University with studios and offices located at the university's campus in Lynchburg, Virginia. WTLU first came on the air in January of 1991 as a translator station for the FamilyNet Television Network. On September 1st, 1991 the Liberty Channel, then known as W19BC Channel 19, began originating programming and became a 24/7 local LPTV station, broadcast live from USA.
